Frequently asked questions

Does the tool upload my images to a server?

Imported files are intended to stay in your browser session for the tool workflow and final export. Public third-party resources such as game data and icons may still be requested when the app loads supported sources.

Can I use my own champion renders?

Yes. You can upload your own champion image and combine it with local or built-in backgrounds.

Can I export vertical and horizontal versions?

Yes. The format selector supports both orientations before export.

Can I replace item, rune, or shard icons?

Yes. Advanced Assets lets you import custom item icons and custom rune or shard icons, then reposition and crop them.

Is this an official Riot tool?

No. RiftBuild Studio is a fan-made project and is not endorsed by Riot Games.
